Allen learned to grow in his grandmother's garden. Years later, on his own California farm, he began mixing plant food for his crops.
That curiosity became Growganica: a range built around the relationship between growing plants and the soil beneath them.
The story moved from a farm to a small shop in Lake Tahoe. Today, the range is manufactured in Austin, Texas, Allen's hometown.
